Townsville Central City Mission is a church dedicated to walking and working with Jesus Christ to build the kingdom of heaven in Townsville and beyond.

Discipleship

We are dedicated to learning from Jesus, acting like Jesus, and the work necessary to have a faith like Jesus. We are graciously committed to encouraging one another to experiment with how each person can do this with more joy, faith and fun!

Our Life Together

At Townsville Central we believe that the foundations of God’s law can be summed up as being about love, attentiveness, and worship. As such we are building an inclusive congregation that assists those in need as we worship in spirit and truth.

Safe Church

In order to be all that God has called us to be, we know that the foundation must be a church that is safe. We are accountable and intentional about spiritual safety, administration, our finances, and the physical environment in which we meet. With accountability and care we are creating a space from which we can grow in faith and serve courageously.

Commitment to Community Transformation

Jesus transformed the communities around him through love and service. It is an example that we intentionally follow. Whether it be through acts of service, community partnerships, or the food outreach program, we are intentional about serving outside the church walls.
